What do you like about the residency program? The Upstate program is a diverse, flexible academic residency providing excellent clinical training in a friendly atmosphere. There is a wide breadth of pathology to learn from, and a great representation of nearly every medical and surgical specialty. Living in Syracuse also affords one the opportunity to care for a relatively underserved population. I also appreciate the close proximity of the University to my hometown.
